Publications

ACP produces the journal Analysis, the publication Sit Venia Verbo and a number of other publications.
The ACP journal: Analysis
Analysis (ISSN 1324-5155) is the journal of the Australian Centre for Psychoanalysis and has been making a significant contribution to psychoanalysis, both locally and internationally, since 1989. It has an international readership and is peer reviewed. The journal encourages diverse contributions to advance discussion in the theoretical and clinical fields of psychoanalysis, including research, commentary, analysis and review.
All articles submitted to this journal will undergo a double-blind peer review process by two expert referees, based on initial editor screening. All invited contributions, including papers and presentations from International Lacan Seminars, will be subject to peer-based editorial screening and review.
Authors wishing to discuss submission of their work please contact the Editor for further details. All work published in Analysis remains the intellectual property of its author.

Analysis invites original full-length article submissions for issue 24 to be published in 2021 with the theme:
Psychoanalysis or …the plague: the unconscious is political.
This has been orientated around the 2018 theme of the International Forums of the Lacanian Field. The Editorial Committee welcomes interpretations from authors in response to this theme.

Sit Venia Verbo No 1 – Feminine Sexuality: The Early Controversy

Sit Venia Verbo No 2 – Tribute to Freud In recognition of the sesquicentenary of Sigmund Freud’s birth, members and friends of the Australian Centre for Psychoanalysis presented a series of short papers on the 6th of May 2006. The papers focussed on the ways in which Freud has been a transformative influence on themselves and their work.
